Nature of Spiritual Warfare
The invisible, hidden enemy, Satan, seeks to DISTRACT, TEMPT, LIE in order to steal your soul. The enemy can come in many forms such as “Pharmakeia” (biological warfare), fear-trauma-harm. Although demons are real, true warfare is against our flesh, not directly against Satan or “archons”. The flesh is a layer of illusions of lies which are implanted by embedded physiological memories, senses, media (entertainment). Jesus said, all issues of life are a matter of our heart (desire + motivations). It’s important to remember never to give Satan, the enemy, more attention than necessary as the temptation to wage war directly against Satan is FORBIDDEN in scripture. Rather, Satan uses LIES (Illusions mostly by twisting words, and through witchcraft). The only real weapon is GOD’s TRUTH as FACTS not the opinions held as “facts” which are really lies of men or devils.
Healing from Trauma
so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless. (Eph 5:27, AMP)
Dissociation is more common than you think, and God’s word offers solutions to those whoose identity has been damaged due to trauma. Christ can bringing healing and wholeness where there is brokenness. The goal is a heart that is fully sanctified where there is no brokeness from sin, false-self or Satan. A divided soul from trauma can keep you from experiencing spiritual victory (love, forgiveness, peace, joy, power) after salvation (James 1:8).
What is Dissociation? It is a split in the conscious process in which a group of mental activities breaks away from the main stream of consciousness and functions as a separate unit. “Man’s life is now disunion with God, with men, with things and with himself.” -Deitrich Bonhoeffer, Ethics. Once we come into union within, which requires the working of God in our lives, then we can be union with all else in life as intended by God. This is what it means to be whole.
